I love round diamonds.
My bias has always been towards rounds. It is the shape I suggest the most. The round brilliant is best shape (of the most common) for reflecting light. They set up well and are the most common. The round diamond has held its value the best over the last 50 years. The only downside is they are more expensive than their peers all else equal.
